How do you organize yourself to cover all subjects in your studies?

October 4, 2010 by Justin

There is no doubt that there is a lot of material covered in the 8 hours it takes to complete the Engineer in Training exam. Gaining such certification is a unique opportunity garnered only by a small portion of the population, so it’s only fitting that the exam be both mentally and physically grueling. However, this is a known entity and can be geared up for with a little upfront effort. It is extremely important to avoid jumping right in to your studies of the material without prior organization of your time. Print out a free monthly calendar and write down a schedule that you will adhere too. This will help organize your thoughts and allow you to visualize your studies getting done with a finite end date, ensuring efficiency in your study time. Without a visual aid, you run the risk of becoming overwhelmed, forcing yourself in to the unproductive routine of worrying whether you will get all subjects reviewed before the test date.

This is just one key, check out the step by step guide to the Engineer in Training exam or any of the other resources on this site to get acquainted with the exam and it’s approach.
