The first is to do an ABET accredited program search. If your program is accredited, then applying for the exam should be fairly streamline, if not, then you will need to do one more step prior to applying. You can do a search … [Read more...]

What should I do the night before the Engineer in Training exam?

November 14, 2010 by Justin

Rounding the corner in to the final night prior to the Engineer in Training exam is a crucial time that could either make or break you depending on how you approach it. If you choose to use the time as cram session, you run the risk of not only being mentally worn out for the exam, but you instill a feeling of desperation that will lead to panic and test anxiety. These feelings are counterproductive to taking a good exam. Instead, concentrate the night before on disengaging and … [Read more...]

How do I effectively use the Engineer in Training practice exams?

November 11, 2010 by Justin

I definitely wasn't prepared and pretty much bombed it, but looking back, know that this was necessary, as it established … [Read more...]

Is there anywhere I could find actual exam problems and solutions from recent Engineer in Training exams?

November 8, 2010 by Justin

I am unsure of this, but if you can, it’s certainly not legal, and I highly recommend against seeking and/or using such material. This is a very serious offense towards the NCEES and further compromises the integrity of the exam. The NCEES Engineer in Training exam is copyright in full and no examinee is allowed to reproduce or disclose any information relating to a specific exam. This includes but is not limited to discussing any exam questions, answers, solutions, or other problems on the … [Read more...]
